Professor Robert Cumming
Bob Cumming is Professor of Epidemiology and Geriatric Medicine, with an international reputation for his research on osteoporosis, falls and fractures.He completed his medical degree in 1979 and, after four years in clinical medicine, trained as an epidemiologist in Sydney and New York. Professor Cumming’s main research interests are falls, fractures and osteoporosis; health of older men; epidemiology of ageing; and non-communicable disease control in Africa. He leads the Concord Health and Ageing in Men Project.
